Lime Cheese Cake Wednesday!

It's Raw, it's Lime and it's not a Cheese Cake.
Since I've been hash tagging thermomix on my instagram (teaunderatree) I've been introduced to the thermomix community. Jo Whitton is so inspiring with her clever healthy recipes and love of North Queensland. Take a look at her blog Quirky Cooking for the recipe.

This cake is not only beautiful to look at, it's so fresh and delicious. It has the perfect amount of sweetness to satisfy all my sweet tooth cravings. This Wednesday night I held an essential oil finger tip facial party. This raw cake was a perfect conclusion to our clean eating menu as we talked about healthy living and shared ideas on how to live life chemical free. I'm looking forward to the next one. I have so many ideas.

Sticky Lime Cake makes for Sunday afternoon play time

My goal for this year is to feed my family and embrace cooking. I was blessed to receive the most beautiful and practical Christmas presents. Cook books! I've always enjoyed eating food but cooking wasn't something that I ever put down as a favourite past time.
When I received Fiona Hoskin's "Devil of a Cookbook" my ambition to embrace cooking went from being a chore to play time.
So! I invited my favourite play pals and we played ladies one beautiful Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago. What better game than to make a Sticky Lime Cake. The thermomix makes me feel like a caricature of a 1950's house wife with my apron on and my hair in tact. With Ella Fitzgerlad singing in the back ground and the smell of lime taking over my senses playing the 1950's house wife was exactly the character I wanted to play that day.
